The Dove Center

The Dove Center is a local organization providing services to victims of domestic abuse.

The Dove Center provides safety, advocacy, and counseling to individuals whose lives have been shattered by domestic violence and/or sexual assault, and strives to expand public awareness of those issues.

Larry has been been a Realtor in Garrett County for 15+ years. During this time he has held many positions within the Garrett County Board of Realtors, including serving as board president in 2010 and 2014 and chairing many committees. In 2010 he was named Garrett County Realtor of the Year. Currently, he is part of the Maryland Association of Realtors' Directors at Large and sits on the MAR Legislative Committee and the Presidents' Advisory Group.

He is a lifelong resident of Garrett County, and grew up on the shores of Deep Creek Lake. His family has had many successful businesses here in Garrett County since the 40’s. He will tell you, he has been blessed to learn from the best. From Larry's grandparents Gus & Alice Heise, Uncle & Aunt Helmuth & Evelyn Heise to his parents Carroll & Doris Smith. Being a hard worker is in his blood. Garrett County, Deep Creek Lake is his life and home! He believes whole heartedy that Garrett County has been a wonderful place to be raised, and to raise his family here!
