The Alley is fun for the Whole Family!
This Deep Creek Lake Bowling Center is the only 10 pin bowling center in Garrett County. The addition of more table games, the arcade and tons of new equipment, allows us to serve more families than before. The Par Matt bowling alley was built in 1971 by the Parsons and Mattingly families. The new generation pinsetters we put in were necessary to keeping the lanes operable, and the synthetic Brunswick lanes have a consistent surface.
Part of the renovation included adding features to enhance the fun experience of night time bowling, like cosmic bowling lights, state of the art sound system, with current music video system. The balls glow, the lanes glow, the lighting is synchronized to the music...it is SO fun!!
If you are planning a Deep Creek Lake Bowling outing, don't bother eating on the way there. The Alley has fantastic pizza, including both a standard 16" round, and a delicious flatbread pizza with specialty toppings, fantastic wings, yummy sweet treats like fresh baked cookies, and much more.
The Alley also has league and club nights. Those league and club nights fill up the lanes...although, we still have space to eat and play the family table games, like ping pong, shuffleboard, air hockey, as well as the arcade.
During your stay in Western Maryland, you will definitely want to carve out some time to go to The Alley in Oakland...it's family fun in a safe, clean environment, with great food!
